Pete Seeger’s America is a fifty- minute musical journey created by noted musician/educator and Broadway veteran John Foley. The show is a lively, interactive concert which brings to life Seeger’s passion for the American folk tradition, education, and the environment.

In a class-length program, Mr. Foley sings Seeger’s best and well-known songs, accompanying himself on the banjo and six- and twelve-string guitars. He shares with us the dramatic, humorous and thrilling highlights of Seeger’s life. Audiences participate in many of the stories and songs. Seeger’s best-known classics are included – Where Have All the Flowers Gone?, We Shall Overcome, The Foolish Frog, Abiyoyo, Bells of Rhymney, Well May the World Go, Wimoweh and many others.
